The American Politiehond Association (APA) is a working dog sport in the United States that mirrors the Netherlands KNPV - Royal Dutch Police Dog Association.

We sponsor training seminars, helper training, handler evaluations, and trials for you to demonstrate and test your training. Our comprehensive program provides opportunities to, compete and participate in APA trials with KNPV exercises. The APA program  is an effective means to test your readiness to compete in sanctioned KNPV events in the Netherlands.
